Becoming an Accredited Mediator

The process for accreditation is standard across the profession and is administered by RMABs.  Those entering the profession need to meet the threshold training, education and assessment requirements for accreditation as set out in the Approval Standards, which are set out in the NMAS.

To apply for accreditation, contact an RMAB. An RMAB can provide information and assistance about the accreditation process. For a list of RMABs click here

Upon being nationally accredited, mediators are required to pay a registration fee. For more information click here
